Database Marketing Manager
As database marketing manager, Julie manages the implementation of database and data-driven fundraising strategies related to direct marketing, digital marketing, direct response, moves management, and member/donor cultivation. This includes managing and/or collaborating with other KPBS staff in the management of the third-party vendor relationships for aspects of the program that are outsourced, such as direct mail, texting, voice broadcast, and digital advertising campaigns. She also manages activities within the membership department designed to improve member and revenue retention. She is a member of the Membership Acquisition and Advancement Committee (MAAC). Julie has worked at KPBS for over 21 years and was a member and pledge drive volunteer before that. Before moving to California, Julie worked for nine years at KPBX public radio in Spokane, Washington. She graduated from the University of Puget Sound with majors in English Writing and Psychology.
