Robert Winteringham

Robert Winteringham is a founder of the Public Media Consulting Group and former Special Counsel for the law firm of Fletcher Heald & Hildreth. Mr. Winteringham was CPB’s Deputy General Counsel from 2005–2013 and served as an attorney in CPB’s Office of General Counsel starting in 1997. Mr. Winteringham also served as a Vice President and Chair of the Legal Committee for the North American Broadcasters Association. Prior to CPB, Mr. Winteringham was senior associate at the communications law firm of McFadden, Evans & Sill. Mr. Winteringham also worked as an intern at the advertising agency Young & Rubicam. Mr. Winteringham is a cum laude graduate of the Indiana University School of Law-Bloomington, where he served on the editorial board of the Federal Communications Law Journal. Mr. Winteringham received his undergraduate degree with high honors from the University of Michigan.
